Elizabeth Chan

With a voice that's appropriately warm and bright, songwriter Elizabeth Chan specializes in original Christmas and holiday music. Since issuing her debut album, Everyday Holidays, in 2013, some of her songs, including 2013's "Fa La La" and 2018's "Best Gift Ever," have reached the Top 20 of Billboard's adult contemporary chart. A more personal seventh full-length, If the Fates Allow, saw release in 2019, and 2021's The Queen of Christmas told Chan's life story through a combination of spoken word tracks and songs. 2023's Songs from Noelle EP was written and recorded with help from Chan's daughter Noelle. The singer/songwriter returned with the EP Shatterproof in 2024, and the next year's Christmas Unhinged included divorce-informed tracks such as a cover of Lennon and Ono's "Happy Xmas" retitled "Happy Ex-Mas (War Is Over)."
