Bloodred Hourglass

Hailing from Mikkeli, Finland, Bloodred Hourglass combines punishing elements of death metal with the melodicism of metalcore -- engaging melodies buttressed by hammering rhythms and hellish vocals ostensibly growled in English. After a series of demo EPs including the well-regarded Deviant Grace, the group released their debut Lifebound in 2012, followed by Where the Oceans Burn (2015), Heal (2017), and Godsend (2019). The well-received Your Highness, featuring the breakout tracks “Drag Me the Rain” and “Veritas," appeared in 2022. How’s the Heart? (2023) and We Should Be Buried Like This (2025) continued their relentless sonic journey, offering fits of cleaner vocals amid the typical sonic chaos.
