Armani Caesar

Buffalo, New York-based rapper Armani Caesar went from uptempo, pop-inflected tracks to slowing down and deepening her sound. Although prolific early in her career with releases including 2009's Bath & Body Work and 2011's Handbag Addict, it wasn't until she joined the Griselda Records roster that she garnered wider attention. Her breakthrough track, 2020's "Simple Done," featured a more measured approach, as she slowed down proceedings without losing her edge. The single was featured on her debut album for Griselda, 2020's The Liz. She followed with another full-length, The Liz 2, in 2022.
