About Francesco Gabbani
An Italian pop singer and multi-instrumentalist whose clever, sometimes philosophical songwriting has won him a widespread audience, Francesco Gabbani first rose to fame as the winner of the 2017 Sanremo Song Contest. He parlayed that success into a strong Eurovision run that same year with the hit "Occidentali's Karma," from his chart-topping third album, Magellano. Gabbani's music remained popular in the next decade with releases like 2020's Viceversa and 2025's Dalla tua parte. Along with repeat appearances at Sanremo, he also became a mentor on X Factor Italy.
