About Tyler Ramsey
An earthy, poetic singer/songwriter from North Carolina, Tyler Ramsey has built a rich catalog rooted in folk and melodic indie rock. Although he began his solo career in the early 2000s, he became more widely known in the latter part of the decade for his work with Band of Horses, serving as their lead guitarist until 2017. During that time, he continued to make music on his own, releasing career highlights like 2011's The Valley Wind. Ramsey struck back out on his own and released 2019's rustic-toned For the Morning. He then worked with producer Phil Ek to make 2024's more rock-driven New Lost Ages. Celestun, a mostly instrumental album from 2026, saw Ramsey collaborating with My Morning Jacket guitarist Carl Broemel.
