Elio Mei

With a soft, perky voice and a knack for hummable melodies, Elio Mei is a singer and songwriter known for playful, theatrical songs that give voice to vulnerable emotional truths. Steadily rising to fame on social media platforms in the early 2020s with songs that typically included ukulele, percussion, and simple keys, Mei released his second EP, Where No One Knows My Name, as a teenager in 2022, leading to his first headlining tour. The full-length To Exist with You appeared in 2023 and included a duet with Addison Grace. After releasing the 2024 concept EP The Bard, which was accompanied by an elaborately staged tour, Elio Mei signed with Mercury Records, which released his sophomore album, A Thousand Songs About It All: Act 1. It contained Mei's most expansively arranged material yet, employing a rhythm section, strings, choral vocals, and a broad palette of whimsical percussion.
