Temper City

Temper City is a Los Angeles-based Israeli rock band whose stylish single, "Self Aware," became a viral hit in early 2026. Members Eytan Peled, Chen Kordova, and Aviv Barenholtz had all previously worked as producers and songwriters for various Israeli and international acts before forming Temper City in 2021. With its moody alt-rock tone reminiscent of 2010s bands like Cage the Elephant and the Neighbourhood, "Self Aware" was released in February 2026 as the trio's debut single. It went on to reach charts around the world, including the U.S. where Temper City became the first Israeli band ever to make the Billboard Hot 100. ~ Timothy Monger
