Emmanuel Cortes

Emmanuel Cortés is a Mexican regional singer and songwriter. In 2023, he released a short nine-track collection titled Memorias <3. Among these was "Amor," an upbeat dance tune which blended norteño and cumbia with romantic lyrics and Cortés' smooth vocals. One year later "Amor" became a surprise viral hit, with hundreds of thousands of people worldwide soundtracking their own videos with it. Its success brought attention to other songs by Cortés such as "Eres Tú" and "Mami," showcasing his range of romantic corridos, pop, and sad sierreños. The EP Pensando en Tí appeared in March 2025.
