In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 7 at Gunnedah South School, singing in parts on carpeted steps. When it suddenly locked in, the sound surrounded me. I was shaking, overwhelmed. That was my first experience of harmony, and I’ve been chasing it ever since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Stapleton, Traveller Eagles, Hotel California John Mayer, Continuum Continuum John Mayer: amazing guitar & restraint. Traveller Chris Stapleton: raw, honest, deeply human. Hotel California Eagles: timeless storytelling & harmonies that shape how I hear songs. Words mean a lot to me, my melodies are made through them. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fate Finds You (Live)” The live version of Fate Finds You, recorded in Texas, is the closest I’ve come to capturing what it feels like on stage. There’s a freedom in it, a moment of letting go and just unleashing the music that lives inside me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at the Ryman Auditorium was unforgettable. Hearing Tommy Emmanuel read my lyrics on that stage like a poem was transcendent. In that moment, everything felt real, like I’d stepped into something far bigger than myself. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to build a global touring life, playing rooms where the connection is real and you can feel it in every note. More than anything, I want to create music that people feel deeply and carry with them for the rest of their lives
