Rey Quinto

Rey Quinto is the moniker of up-and-coming Mexican regional artist Arturo Herrera Altamirano. Quinto's first singles appeared in 2023, backed by Guadalajara's Golden Ink label and distributed by Virgin Music US Latin. Promoted as a youthful perspective on the by now customary mix of traditional corridos, tumbados, and sierreños, Quinto was duly weaned into the public consciousness by inserting him into material by some of the genre's biggest stars: Netón Vega's "Agua de Horchata" (included in the latter's Mi Vida Mi Muerte), Peso Pluma"s "Marianita" (from Dinastía, also featuring Tito Double P), and Luis R Conríquez's "Aguas" (also featuring Netón Vega), a viral hit in early 2026. Quinto"s first EP, an 8-song collection titled V, hit the streets in March of the same year.
