Helmut Lotti

A multi-million-selling artist worldwide, Helmut Lotti is a Belgian singer/songwriter who was first moved by music at a young age upon hearing the voice of one Elvis Presley. Becoming a crooner in much the same style as his idol, his first album appeared in 1990. After a few records that got him dubbed "the New Elvis" in his part of the world, Lotti shifted gears and recorded a number of classical albums before stretching out in another direction during 1999, when he began to explore music from other continents. Subsequent records proved to be equally popular, and his 2006 album, The Crooners, hit number one in Belgium. ~ Chris True
