ANGUS McSIX

Just by hearing the name Angus McSix, power metal connoisseurs will know what the group's music sounds like. Singer Thomas Winkler previously fronted power metal band Gloryhammer as "Angus McFife", but was dismissed from the group in 2021 after three albums – so naturally, Angus McSix, masterminded by Orden Ogan frontman and producer Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann, picks up where Winkler's former band left off, adopting their theatrical style which harks back to the power metal sound of the late nineties. Their first epic, Angus McSix and the Sword of Power. appeared in 2023. In 2025, however, Winkler took a break from music – so the character of McSix's brother Adam was introduced, voiced by new frontman Samuel Nyman. The group's second album, Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye, reached #5 on the German charts.
