Mudbaby Ru is a rapper out of West Memphis, Arkansas, whose Southern style is one of huge beats, leathery flows, and roughed-up attitude. He had some success with his 2022 track "Gun Class," which led to a remix of the song with Nardo Wick and G Herbo the next year. Mudbaby Ru capitalized on a growing audience by releasing further singles like 2024's "Button."
