In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I lived in Jamaica an artist from my neighborhood blew up. That made the dream feel possible in my mind. When I moved to America in 2002 i heard 50 cent for the first time and I knew what I wanted to do with my life What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bryson Tiller, Bryson Tiller Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) Tems, For Broken Ears The story telling and emotions in these albums are unmatched. Take care is one of my favorite albums of drakes. Trapsoul is the first time i heard Bryson and to be able to work with him on Bryson Tiller album was a full circle moment. Tell us why you chose this song. “We Turn Up 2 SZA” This song was the first time i went against the grain of what is expected of an r&b artist. It blends genres and tells a story of someone yearning to feel something.. anything again What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Bryson at SOFI stadium was a highlight in my career. It was the biggest stage I had been on at that point in my career and seeing the response from an audience who didn’t know me at the time was just amazing Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to do a world tour! And Perform in Jamaica, Philadelphia and Korea. All 3 places played a major role in who I am as a person and who I am as an artist and songwriter.
