About Paulo FG y su Élite

Latin dance artist Paulito F.G. (real name Pablo Fernández Gallo) got his start by singing with such acclaimed salsa artists as Adalberto Álvarez y Su Son and Dan Den, and by 1992, formed his own group, Paulito F.G. y Su Élite. By mixing the popular music of his homeland with other styles such as funk and rap, Paulito gained a substantial following in Japan and Europe (specifically Spain, the Canary Islands, Finland, and France), but he remained best known in Cuba, where his 1995 single "Qué Vas a Decir" topped the charts for a staggering nine weeks. This resulted in the release of a pair of albums stateside in 1997, Sofocándote and Bueno Soy Yo. He released several more albums over the next two decades, including 2001's Una vez más...por amor with Juan Ceruto and 2019's Brindando.
