In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was singing with a live band for the first time in a place that used to be a brothel in my hometown in the Venezuelan Andes. It was chaotic, loud, and somehow that strange night made me fall in love with performing What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jon Bellion, FATHER FIGURE Zandú, Error De Lectura - EP Zandú, Exhala - EP My first two picks are my own albums, because there’s no music I love more than the one I’ve poured my life into. The last one is Jon Bellion, because the textures in his music are incredible and inspired me to write some songs. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Agradecido” “Agradecido” is very special to me. My fans helped me finish writing it, and today it feels like a love anthem within our community. I originally wrote it for a friend who was about to propose, and it became something much bigger than I imagined. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was bringing my music to Harvard University, speaking about independent artists, and performing at the first conference celebrating successful Latinos around the world. It was deeply meaningful. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course. There’s still so much ahead. I feel like everything so far has just been rehearsal. The hour is only beginning. A world tour is definitely on my bucket list and many more dreams waiting to be lived.
