About Lorie

French singer Lorie (born Laure Pester in 1982), was one of early 2000s most commercially successful French pop artists before the American Idol-inspired TV show era. Each of her LP releases was crowned with groundbreaking sales and her fans' faithful following. Though she continued her career in the second half of the 2000s, she was somehow eclipsed by the aforementioned TV show's growing effect on overall record sales. ~ Olivier Duboc
