In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. "Nocturnes" was written in one sitting while caring for my ill wife one Sunday. I sent the demo and stems to London producer Craigie Dodds, who made minor tweaks, mixed, and mastered it. The music video went on to win three international awards. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Depeche Mode, Songs of Faith and Devotion (Deluxe) Massive Attack, Mezzanine Portishead, Dummy Each album seeped into my dark soul and stayed. Though rooted in the ’90s, their music and production are timeless—blending darkness, groove, space, soul, and sensuality in perfect measure. Electro Rock meets Trip Hop! Tell us why you chose this song. “Scarface” "Scarface" is one of my most vulnerable songs of rejection—born from self-inflicted pain through jealousy and insecurity. It’s a raw unveiling of my scarred face for the world to see. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Epic western video for our song Joaquin, inspired by the legend of Joaquin Murrieta—the muse for Zorro. Featuring daring horseback scenes, it won Best Music Video at 5 international film festivals. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Touring the world, performing at Glastonbury, Primavera, and other international festivals, and opening for bands that we love. Of course, getting a sync or two with our songs would be great too.
