The Reytons

South Yorkshire act the Reytons deliver a down to earth style of indie rock not unlike the early work of their predecessors, Arctic Monkeys. The quartet formed in 2017 releasing their debut EP, It Was All So Monotonous, within months. The same year, they reinforced their canon of tales of working-men's clubs, cheap nights out, and children up late playing with the K.O.T.E EP. Alcopops & Charity Shops followed in 2018, with their debut album, 2021's Kids Off the Estate, eventually hitting the U.K. Top 20. 2023's follow-up, What's Rock & Roll?, had a higher production value, and saw them reach for a more varied, dynamic sound. It hit the U.K. number one spot, a feat that 2024's Ballad of a Bystander narrowly missed out on. However, 2026's A Love Letter to a Broken Town returned them to the top and appeared part way through their first world tour.
