About IAN SWEET
The nervy indie pop of Ian Sweet, while musically complex, is undeniably hooky. Led by Jilian Medford, the project released its first album, Shapeshifter, in 2016. While it relied heavily on layers of guitar distortion, third album Show Me How You Disappear (2021) ventured into shimmery electronic components like synths and drum loops without abandoning its noisy core. Ian Sweet further explored elements like synths and wide-ranging guitar textures on 2023's SUCKER.
