Bleary Eyed

Coming up from the same Philadelphia shoegaze subculture that yielded groups like Blue Smiley and They Are Gutting a Body of Water, Bleary Eyed operate under similar parameters, evolving from a project of frontman Nathaniel Salfi to a full band whose shimmering, distorted tunes have only gotten better since forming in 2017. Fans have taken to tracks like “Take the Car” (from 2021 sophomore album Guise), 2023’s “Pennies” and “Susan,” the opener to 2025’s Easy.
