Solardo

Solardo are a Manchester-based duo famous for slick but funky house grooves and lively sets that match the warehouse-club energy of their productions. • The two met in the late 2000s when Richards was a dubstep DJ and Eliot was an avid raver. They decided to blend their influences to create a fresh form of house. • By 2016, the duo was turning heads with a series of bass-heavy, acid-laced tech-house EPs. • In subsequent years, Solardo expanded their sound, introducing brighter elements and more melodic sequences on hits like “XTC,” “Move Your Body,” and “Tear It Up.” • In 2017, the duo launched the label imprint Sola, which has released music from scene stars like CamelPhat and Mason Maynard.
