With Celebrate, Kentucky rockers Black Stone Cherry follow up their 2023 album, Screamin’ at the Sky, with a seven-song EP focused on positivity and personal resilience. The opening track is a one-day-at-a-time anthem powered by a staccato riff as vocalist/guitarist Chris Robertson urges us to “Celebrate, you made it through another one today.” Lead single “Neon Eyes” delivers a steady groove and lyrics about going with the flow during a night out on the town. The band’s closing cover of Simple Minds’ 1985 classic and The Breakfast Club theme song “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” features gang vocals and a guest shot from Theory of a Deadman singer Tyler Connolly.
