The project even has an “Intermission,” which features late-’90s-era mixtape-style drops from NBA studs Dame Lillard, Jaylen Brown, and JaVale McGee. The production—as is to be expected from a Ferg album—skews turnt, provided this go by dependable names like Hit-Boy, Tay Keith, and Frankie P. As far as a continuation of an idea, Floor Seats II is an album like its predecessor, full of the kind of high-energy big-name collaboration rap that sounds most at home soundtracking fashion shows and time-outs during professional basketball games.
