Nearly every tune the Buzzcocks blasted out during their 1977–79 heyday could’ve been a single, and this sweetly titled set collects those that actually were, as well as their respective B-sides. The buzz-saw hooks and sing-along refrains that drive “Orgasm Addict” and “What Do I Get?” are the blueprint for pop-punk. But frontman Pete Shelley’s wry brilliance comes deeper in: “Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)” and “Why Can’t I Touch It?” are anthems for sexual confusion.
