The Black Keys Essentials

While they were at the forefront of the ‘00s blues-rock revival, Ohio duo The Black Keys found success well beyond the retro movement's peak. Drawing heavily from '70s glam rock and the vintage blues of Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney built up a hefty back catalog before breaking through with 2008's Danger Mouse-produced Attack & Release. Following Brothers, which won three GRAMMY®s, the pair moved further away from their lo-fi roots with the more arena-friendly El Camino and the psychedelia-tinged Turn Blue.
