Seal Essentials

London-born Seal scored his big musical break when he hooked up with acid house producer Adamski to sing on the crossover smash “Killer” in 1990. Since then he's never looked back, with 1991's self-titled debut album pairing his powerful and soul-packed vocals with pop-leaning tracks. His follow-up project in 1994 produced the emotive ballad “Kiss from a Rose”—and the song shot to the top of the charts when it was later included on the Batman Forever soundtrack. As his career has developed, Seal has also released regular collections of soul covers.
