Kiha & the Faces' smart and yet eccentric approach to rock also applies to the music they love. Their chugging riffs and winding vocal melodies continue the Korean psychedelic rock tradition established by Shin JunHyun & yupjuns and Sanullim in the ‘60s and ‘70s, but the group has been just as inspired by disco, ‘90s K-pop boy bands, and the theme song for the ‘88 Seoul Olympics—and incorporate everything with equal enthusiasm.
