Headed up by identical twins Brandon and Brian Casey, the Atlanta-based quartet signed to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label to ready their debut album, A Jagged Era, in 1997. Their talent for performing soulful ballads about heartache, love, and commitment hit the big time in 2000 with the release of the platinum certified J.E. Heartbreak. Collaborations with Ashanti and John Legend allow the group to stay true to their R&B roots, while select outings with rappers like Nelly take the Jagged sound into the club scene.
