It only makes sense that Florence + The Machine's dark, baroque pop—and lead singer Florence Welch's vibrant red locks—would translate well to the screen. Welch frolics in the clouds with gospel choirs and tribal drummers ("Dog Days Are Over"), gets swept up in a masked bacchanal ("Shake It Out") and survives Dante's purgatory in the short film The Odyssey, and somehow makes it all feel natural.
