Felix Da Housecat Essentials

Chicago-born house prodigy Felix Stallings Jr. made an auspicious start when, at the age of 15, a chance encounter with acid house legend DJ Pierre blossomed into a mentorship. At 16, Stallings released his first single. Then, as Felix Da Housecat, he rode the second wave of Chicago house to widespread acclaim in the early '90s with a string of raw and stripped-down singles that became international club hits. In the '00s, Stallings became bigger than ever, thanks to a blockbuster collaboration with Miss Kittin. In 2013, he released his tenth album, I Just Want to Be a Lesbian.
