Aleks Syntek Essentials

Aleks Syntek–known simply as “Master” to his fans–is a multi–talented singer, songwriter, producer and musician from Mexico. Aleks started writing songs aged 11 and by the time he was 19, his compositions were being recorded by Sasha Sokol. In 1990 he formed the group Aleks Syntek y la Gente Normal and released his first album Hey Tú. But he really started to flourish in 1999, when he opened a solo career with the release of Sexo Pudor Y Lagrimas, the soundtrack to the movie of the same name. His 2004 duet "Duele El Amor" with Spanish singer Ana Torroja reached No. 1 on Latin charts—his first of many chart-topping triumphs. Let us introduce you to the "Master" though a career-spanning set of great music with pop, rock, funk, and electronic influences.
