Akvarium and BG Collaborations

Akvarium and founder Boris Grebenshchikov have pushed their sound beyond the classic Russian rock idiom for which they're so renowned. BG has joined ex-member Sergey Kurekhin on "Rock-Steady", which pulses with laser synths and exploding guitars; electronic outfit Deadushki, who offers breakbeat-laden Akvarium covers; and English artist Marc Almond, who ventures into lyrical Russian chanson.
