This year, we’re celebrating Carnaval with some of our favorite artists. Through a series of exclusive, exuberant playlists that span a rainbow of rhythms and eras, they bring the sounds of Brazil’s biggest party right to your speakers. Each artist’s playlist offers a taste of what you’d hear on Rio's feather-and-glitter-drenched streets: There’s classic bloco vibes (Silva), baile funk and arrocha (LUDMILLA, Lexa), a mix of MPB and modern sertanejo (Léo Santana), and the boundary-pushing pop anthems that have become festival canon (Pabllo Vittar). While nothing compares to the splendor of the real thing, these joyful, colorful playlists capture the festival’s magic and mayhem—no matter where in the world you’re listening from.

Brazil’s biggest party is back in full force, and we’ve got a parade’s worth of music to celebrate.
