4AD

One of the world's most celebrated independent labels, 4AD is known for its extraordinary roster and visually distinctive identity. Started in London in 1980 by two record shop employees (Ivo Watts-Russell and Peter Kent), the label has since released timeless works by Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Grimes, The National, and Pixies, to name just a few.
