In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around 12 was when I really got into singing. Our school chorus had auditions for a concert, and I got the big ending solo in Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive." Watching the audience go from shock to cheering, I knew I wanted that feeling forever. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Backstreet Boys, Backstreet Boys Christina Aguilera, Christina Aguilera Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill I'm a 90s kid, so the Backstreet Boys were one of the first groups I loved. The classic pop sound of the time combined with the melodies and harmonies are so nostalgic. Christina is my earliest female vocalist inspiration, and Lauryn is untouchable. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at commencement at Agganis Arena for Berklee College of Music's graduation, landing a job working with my favorite artists at Columbia Records learning the business side of things, and getting recorded by Rakim at his house when I was 15! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A Grammy! The album is in the running in 3 categories this year, so fingers crossed in November!
