Wesley Klein, generally known as simply Wesley, is a Dutch pop singer who rose to fame on the television show Popstars prior to making his recording debut with the chart-topping hit single "You Raise Me Up" in 2010. Born in Leiderdorp in 1988, he was the winner of the second season of Popstars, which ran from 2009 to 2010. The single "You Raise Me Up" was an unsurprising number one hit, and his follow-ups "Een Ongelofelijke Droom," "Levenslang," and "Een Mooie Dag" all performed well also. In the midst of this run of hit singles, Klein made his full-length debut with Vandaag en Morgen (2010), a Top Five hit on the Dutch chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
