In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started learning music at three years old. When I was 14, I went to Beijing, China for school, which is also when i explored rock music and decided to make music as my lifetime career. After 2022, I started my music journey in Boston, USA. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Leonard Cohen, Songs Of Leonard Cohen Mitski, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We Patti Smith, Horses I love poetic and deep lyrics; I believe good artwork will hit people in the soul, and i love seeking coincidence in songs, these three albums had or have impacted me a lot and made me who I am. Tell us why you chose this song. “Asahi (Single Version)” This is the first single that ever shows to the public and the first song I wrote for my debut EP. I wasn't able to show myself and my weaknesses to others for a long time, which makes it so significant to me, a proof of me being stronger. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I held my listening experience recital at Berklee College of Music earlier this year. My songs were really private to me before, but after that recital, so many audiences came to me to say how good my songs are, and how my works let people cry. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to write more songs and release more albums. But I hope I will always be writing for myself, not fame or money or appreciation.
