In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first, and fondest musical memories is of my dad teaching me and my brother to sing. We would go on family road trips up and down the California coast. My dad would play the Beach Boys and teach all the harmonies to my brother and I. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hillsong UNITED, Zion (Deluxe Edition) Deluxe Edition John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles Radiohead, OK Computer My favorite artist (John Mayer), the most complete and powerful album (Radiohead), and the most influential praise album in my life (Hillsong). These represent three of the biggest aspects of who I am: guitar, music, worship. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Need Jesus” This song is the cornerstone of my album upcoming album. I went through a really tough time a number of years back and I made a playlist called I NEED JESUS for encouragement. When I wrote this song it just fit the hope those songs gave me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In a former band, Trunk Full of Daisies, playing in Denver at the Vans Warped Tour back in the 90's was big. But now, it's leading worship weekly at my home church. Those relationships and watching the Spirit move in God's people. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things. I have this period of time where I wasn't performing or writing because I was in the Army. So I feel like I am a little late to the game but that doesn't stop me. I just love to sing and play.
