In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up my dad always had good music playing, whether it be in the car on the way to school or at home during the weekends. Especially 90’s rap in Deathrow, Pac, Hov, Mos Def all the greats. He’s where I get my love for music from. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A-Reece, Reece Effect Drake, Thank Me Later Migos, Culture Choosing my top 3 albums of all time feels impossible. But these 3 albums that had a huge influence in my journey into making music. Culture got me into rapping during my high school days, while Thank Me Later got me obsessed with telling my story. Tell us why you chose this song. “Damage” This is the most challenging song I've recorded to date, a future deep cut maybe. I hadn't done anything like it before so I'm really proud of how it turned out with the help of my close friend Akhil on production. Working with him is always special. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having the courage to put your art out into the world is one of the most difficult things to talk yourself into doing. But after releasing some of my earlier work and people telling me they love it for the first time is a feeling I’ll never forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My career is still in it’s adolescence so I still have a lot of things on my bucket list. The major ones include becoming a household name in my city, working with my idols, getting acknowledgement for my music and feeling accomplished when its over.
