In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was at primary school and was asked to play the triangle, I never could get an angle on it. As luck would have it, I was put on the glockenspiel & went on to perform for the school. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bread Not Bullets” I made this song as a musical antidote to the Nguni language struggle song 'Umshini wami' AKA 'Bring Me My Machine Gun'. The song sang by Umkhonto we Sizwe. It's my way of promoting peace, love and unity in a violent and dangerous South Africa. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Spending time in my friends' studio/s and meeting some magical musicians. Being so positively influenced by my experiences that I started out on my own musical journey leading me here. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To perform a set live in a unique, beautiful & remote location.
