Trace is a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter whose soulful electro-pop falls somewhere between the breezy, west coast cool of Lana Del Rey and the moody, R&B-kissed ruminations of James Blake. The daughter of an iconic Vietnamese pop star, Trace never intended to follow her mother into the music business, but that all changed once the aspiring writer found her voice. In 2014, she began laying down tracks in her bedroom studio for what would eventually become her debut.
