About The Georgia Thunderbolts

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Zach Everett "I used to dance in the kitchen with my granny to Merle Haggard" What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Audioslave, Audioslave Pantera, The Best of Pantera: Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboys' Vulgar Hits! Remastered Van Halen, Van Halen Remastered Bristol Perry: Van Halen 1 - I grew up on this album. It’s pure energy. Audioslave - Chris Cornell is one of my favorite voices out there. Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power - It's heavy, raw and powerful, all the things that I love in an album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Looking for an Old Friend” TJ Lyle - We didn’t think about what we were doing while writing it, but low and behold that song became the Georgia Thunderbolts. Not just sound wise but lyrically and emotionally as well! It’s the first song we ever wrote and released together. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Logan Tolbert - Getting to tour Europe with Black Stone Cherry and getting to open for Deep Purple on one of two of their US tour dates. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Riley Couzzourt - To play at the Grand Ole Opry. It’s where a lot of legends have played and most bands don't get the chance to play there. It would be an honor and a great accomplishment for us if we got that opportunity.
