Suretoss

Suretoss remained with their style of simple, gleeful pop despite their years of line-up changes and relocation's. With their start in 1993, the band originated in Denton, Texas as a hobby outside of their college life. But with two years of empty shows and an EP on Jigsaw Records in 1995, creative differences split the band on a year long hiatus. With a completely different line-up taking place in 1996, Suretoss appeared on a number of scattered compilations as well as recording the Harmless Intentions EP before going their separate ways again. Finally settling in Seattle two years after their second departure, their second single "Quiet Christmas" became Suretoss' comeback release in 1999; even though the band continually experiences a revolving roster. ~ Mike DaRonco
