sunking

Sunking is an experimental jazz project from Seattle musicians Rob Granfelt and Antoine Martel. Also known as members of the jazz collective High Pulp, the duo debuted in 2019 with an eponymous album that wove hip-hop, avant-garde, and indie rock elements into their textural jazz figures. After moving to Los Angeles and signing with the ANTI- label, Sunking released their sophomore set, Smug, in 2022. The band's third album, I DON'T LIKE MY TELEPHONE, was their most eclectic yet with heavy electronic elements and the addition of a third member, Victory Nguyen.
