Submachine

The 1990s punk band Submachine is popularly regarded as one of leading bands of Pittsburgh's Iron City Punk Movement. Members include vocalist Alex Lewinger, guitarist/vocalist Jeff Cherep, guitarist Ricky Budway, bassist Jay "Cha-Chi" Nulph, and drummer/vocalist Greg "Liar" Mairs. Several of Submachine's vinyl releases were compiled onto the 1998 C.I. disc Sawed-Off Shotglass: Anthology of Vinyl. ~ Joslyn Layne
