Spun In Darkness

Death metal band Spun in Darkness emerged out of Las Vegas, NV, in 2006, having been put together by former Goatlord drummer Jeff Nardone (here also handling lead vocals), along with guitarist Tom Giacalone and bass player Nick Otvos. The trio recorded their debut album, Birthright, independently released later that same year, but it didn't receive wider distribution until being picked up for reissue by Battle Kommand Records in mid-2007, at which point its deliberate brand of old-school death metal was finally introduced to the underground metal faithful. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
