Spirit Adrift

A melodic, riff-forward doom metal unit based out of Arizona, Spirit Adrift is the brainchild of guitarist and vocalist Nate Garrett, who also plays with Tempe-based death metallers Gatecreeper. He recorded Spirit Adrift's 2016 debut Chained to Oblivion by himself, then formed a full-band lineup, producing 2017's Curse of Conception. The group's roster shifted as Spirit Adrift released subsequent albums like 2020's Enlightened in Eternity and the cover-heavy 20 Centuries Gone (2022).
