In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was ten years old, my uncle took me to his practice space that he shared with the band GWAR. I remember being blown away with the grandeur of the workshop and costumes. I got behind a drumset that evening and immediately fell in love. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Birds In Row, Gris Klein (Main Digital) Kepone, Ugly Dance Radiohead, In Rainbows Gris Klein: A current favorite, an intense and deeply emotive album. Ugly Dance: The album that inspired me to get into heavier music. In Rainbows: Maybe a cheap answer but I've been revisiting it since I was young. Unmatched in power and beauty. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “In Escrow” It's a deeply relatable song that's so much fun to play. I love the first half of the song's 80's lead guitar. The second half kills all the momentum only to build back even bigger. Charlie's scream at the end gives me chills every time I hear it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring India was definitely at the top of the list, we played three college festivals around the country. We were struck by the hunger for live music. It's not a place that gets a lot of touring rock bands, every show was packed with excited fans. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Plenty - touring different countries, playing with bands we admire, getting to share our music with bigger crowds. But really the goal is to play the music that we love for as long as possible. Not to get burnt out and to do it on our terms.
