In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started learning how to play piano at a young age, around 5 or 6 years old. I remember practicing every day on a cheap casio keyboard that would slide around on the stand when I would press the keys. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile Sufjan Stevens, Carrie & Lowell The War on Drugs, A Deeper Understanding Trent Reznor, Sufjan Stevens, and Adam Granduciel are three of my favorite songwriters. The lyricism and imagery in these three albums is very moving and truly capture something special from each of them. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Definitely working with San Pedro producer Jon Joseph on these songs. We had a lot of fun in his studio and his experience, skill, and direction resulted in songs that I think are really special and beautiful.
